PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 41 (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Bellingham Public Footpath Number 41, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Parish of Bellingham Public Footpath Number 41
From a point on the U5076 road immediately south of Haining Cottage in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres to a point immediately north of number 2 Malting Close.
Although the Order is for a period of 6 months the footpath will only be closed for short periods within that time and pedestrian access will be maintained for the majority of the time.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th June 2025 until the 30th December 2025.

The closure has been requested by Aptus Utilities in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to apparatus and connection to an existing electricity supply.
