Temporary Closure of Allerford Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Allerford Road - from 642 metres south-west of the junction with Wiveliscombe Road, southwards for a total distance of 92 metres. This Order will enable Core Highways to carry out masonry repairs on behalf of National Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 12th June 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th June 2025 and last until 20th June 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 5 days.
