Manadon Ground Investigations - To Prohibit The Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading

What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (MANADON GROUND INVESTIGATIONS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in: 
- Old Tavistock Road - for is entirety 
- St Pters Road - Between Manadon Roundabout and Manadon Drive 
- Outland Road slip road to Manadon Roundabout - for its entirety

2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in: 
- Pendennis Close - between numbers 6 and 22
- St Peters Road - between Hardy Crescent and Bronte Place
- Moreton Avenue - between numbers 14 and 22
- Kneele Gardens - between number 5 and 15
- Linketty Lane West - between Kneele Gardens and69

3. To prohibit the movement of pedestrians in: 
- Tavistock Road footbridge - at the junction of Drax Gardens
- Drax Gardens - between Moreton Avenue and Tavistock Road

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 17th July 2025 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the Manadon Ground Investigation works will take place at the above locations between 17th July 2025 until 1st November 2025. Advance warning boards will be displayed on site at each location to communicate exact dates and times nearer the time
