What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U3091 HUMBER DOUCY LANE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3091 Humber Doucy Lane, Ipswich from Rushmere Road to number 113 to facilitate manhole cover replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Playford Road, the A1214, Colchester Road, Rushmere Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 12/06/2025 from 10am - 3pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

FOOTPATH 2, WOOLPIT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 2, Woolpit from the north side of the A14 for 40 metres northbound for safety reasons due to an unsafe bridge. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

There is no diversion route.

This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 23/05/2025

It is intended that the closure will operate until 22/11/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U3809 PUMP STREET, ORFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3809 Pump Street, Orford from the junction with Castle Lane for 30 metres south eastbound to facilitate the disconnection, removal and replacement of underground electrical cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Castle Lane, Market Hill and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/06/2025 - 27/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C611 WARREN ROAD, HERRINGSWELL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C611 Warren Road, Herringswell from no. 10 for 50 metres westbound to facilitate the replacement of a pole and overhead power line. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Turnpike Road, the B1085, the B1506 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 23/06/2025 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C726 THE STREET, ALDHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C726 The Street, Aldham from Chapel House to Elmsett Road to facilitate remedial works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be road from 8407 to C724, Red Hill Road, the A1071, Burstall Road, Sproughton Corner, The Street, Church Hill, Ipswich Road, Burstall Hill, Elmsett Road, Ipswich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 21/06/2025 - 22/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
