Cot Hill Pedestrian Cycle Scheme - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving

What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (COT HILL PEDESTRIAN CYCLE SCHEME) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in: 
- Dudley Road - westbound for its entirety 
- Dudley Road - between number 141 and Cot Hill 
- Cot Hill - between Valley Road and Underlane 
- Marshall Road - from Cot Hill and to a point 50meters

2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in: 
- Marshal Road - from Cot Hill and to a point 50meters
- Dudley Road - between number 168 and Cot Hill 
- Cot Hill - between Valley Road and Underlane

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 14th July 2025 and shall continue in force for amaximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the Cot Hill pedestrian and cycle crossing scheme will take place at the above locations between 14th July 2025 until 14th November 2025. Advance warning boards will be displayed on site at each location to communicate exact dates and times nearer the time
