Various Roads, Pendle Borough - Revocation And Various Parking Restrictions

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, PENDLE BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS 25-26 (NO1G)) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads, Pendle Borough) (Revocation and Various Parking Restrictions) (Amendment) Order 2013" insofar as it relates to Item (3) of Schedule 15.07.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Pendle Borough Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to the following:
i. Item (124) of Schedule 2.01;
ii. Items (153)a) and (153)b) of Schedule 10.01.
2. Introduce a disabled persons parking place in the following lengths of road:
a) Cross Street, Earby, the west side, from a point 54 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Barret Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a southerly direction;
b) River Way, Barrowford, the north side, from a point 13 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Gisburn Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in an easterly direction.
3. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Chapel House Road, Nelson, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Halifax Road for a distance of 14 metres in a north easterly direction;
b) Commercial Road, Nelson, the north east side, from a point 22 metres south-east of its junction with the centreline of Water Street for a distance of 27.5 metres in a south-easterly direction;
c) Halifax Road, Nelson, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Hibson Road for a distance of 64 metres in a south easterly direction;
d) Halifax Road, Nelson, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Hill Place for a distance of 32.5 metres in a south easterly direction;
e) Halifax Road, Nelson, the south west side, from its junction with the centreline of Hibson Road to a point 10 metres south east of its junction with the centreline of Hill Place in a south easterly direction;
f) Hill Place, Nelson, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Halifax Road for a distance of 9 metres in a south westerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
