What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CHESTER STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Chester Street between properties 61-63. Access/egress to frontages to be maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 16 June 2025, between 08:00 and 17:00.
The Order is required to facilitate sewer line repair works by STW.
