NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF ORDER

EAST DEVON DISTRICT COUNCIL

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES)

AMENDMENT ORDER NO.1 2025

Notice is hereby given that East Devon District Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 32 and 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) as further regulated by the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers intends to amend the East Devon District Council (Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2008 (as amended) ("the 2008 Order") which will have the effect of:

  1. Adding Camperdown Terrace Slipway, Exmouth to the 2008 Order with the imposition of the following charges and restrictions on use:

Classes of vehicles permitted to wait in parking spaces

Maximum daily parking charge or charge for parking ticket

Maximum charge for parking permit

Maximum period permitted for waiting

Passenger vehicle

Not available at this location

Town (modular) Parking Permit: Annual £254, Monthly £22

In this car park Town (modular) permits are valid for a continuous period of 23 hours with no return within 1 hour

Light goods vehicle (Motorcaravan maximum length of 5.3 metres)

Motorcycle

Free

  1. Adding Land at Albion Court Sheltered Housing, Exmouth to the 2008 Order with the imposition of the following charges and restrictions on use:

Classes of vehicles permitted to wait in parking spaces

Maximum daily parking charge or charge for parking ticket

Maximum charge for parking permit

Maximum period permitted for waiting

Passenger vehicle

Not available at this location

There is no charge however residency and current conditions apply.

No restriction on waiting for valid permit holders.

Light goods vehicle (Motorcaravan maximum length of 5.3 metres)

Alternatively, this information can be viewed during the hours of 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday in the receptions at Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton, Devon, EX14 1EJ and Exmouth Town Hall, St Andrews Road, Exmouth, Devon, EX8 1AW.

Objections (and other representations) in connection with the proposed amendment Order should be made in writing specifying the grounds for objection to Legal Services, East Devon District Council, Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton, Devon, EX14 1EJ or email: legal@eastdevon.gov.uk, quoting ref: 003150/Legal, by no later than 5pm on 4th July 2025.
