Steel Brow and Dub Brow, Copeland – Temporary Road Closures due to Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U4013, STEEL BROW AND DUB BROW, MORESBY PARKS TO FRIZINGTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable highway works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. U4013, from its junction with Moresby Parks Road to its junction with the U4015; and
2. U4013 Steel Brow from its junction with the U4015 extending in a south easterly direction onto Dub Brow to the junction with the A5086.
Suitable alternative routes for vehicles will be signed and available via Moresby Parks Road, U4022, Rheda Park, Meadowcroft Road, A5086, U4017, U4016 and the U4015, as appropriate.

The Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 9 weeks and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
