Glen Esk, Haughend to Craigoshina - Temporary Prohibition of Driving & Waiting

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 09/06/2025 the Council made The Angus Council (Haughend to Craigoshina, Glen Esk) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that telecommunications apparatus repair works may be undertaken. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on the Glen Esk (C36) road between the private accesses to Haughend and Craigoshina, a distance of 1.7 kilometres or thereby. The Order will be in force from 12/06/25 for 10 days, however, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
