(THTTC3799 Upton Lane, Chew Magna)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Upton Lane, Chew Magna from a point outside the property known as Graylands. USRN: 47960430.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to replace a stop tap on the 16th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Upton Lane (remainder) – Wells Road – East Dundry Lane – Claypit Road – North Wick – Upton Lane – vice versa.

(THTTC3824 Harts Lane, Hallatrow)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Harts Lane, Hallatrow at the redundant rail bridge, where Harts Lane meets Marsh Lane and next to Highbury Farm Business Park. USRN: 47916912.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Highways to carry out a safety inspection of a redundant rail bridge on the 15th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 

Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Moorledge Road, Stowey from its junction with A368 Wick Road extending north west for approximately 155 metres. USRN: 47920319.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out a pole replacement on the 4th July 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:30 - 15:30hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footpath closure in that length of Footpath Riverside Walk, Midsomer Norton from its junction with Cautletts Close extending east to its junction with Withies Park. USRN: 47920509.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath to enable Openreach to carry out underground civils works from the 30th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The footpath will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.
