What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order
2022/853 - Article 19 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF A12 MAIN ROAD, DARSHAM
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing A12 MAIN ROAD, DARSHAM from its junction with Westleton Road for approximately 2.7km to its junction with the A144 to facilitate works associated with the construction of the Sizewell C Northern Park and Ride. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be A12, A1117, A146, A143, A140, A14 and vice versa.
The closure will take place between 20:00 and 05:00 hours. It is intended that the closure will operate Monday to Friday between 07/07/2025 to 19/07/2025 to facilitate works associated with the Northern Park and Ride.
Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 9.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
