What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1077 WESTERFIELD ROAD, WESTERFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1077 Westerfield Road, Westerfield to facilitate telecommunications fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be available for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Valley Road, Colchester Road, Woodbridge Road East, Woodbridge Road, Main Road, the A12 Martlesham, the A12 Woodbridge, Grundisburgh Road, Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh Road, Otley Road, Otley Bottom, Swilland Road, Road from Gibraltar Road to Swilland Road, Ashbocking Road, Ashbocking Road the B1078, Ashbocking Road the B1077, Berghersh Drive, Upper Street, America Hill, Mow Hill, The Street, Ipswich Road, Rose Hill and vice versa.
This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 17/05/2025.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C692 MOUNT ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C692 Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Shakers Lane for 120 metres eastbound to facilitate a gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Orttewell Road, Barton Road, Eastgate Street, and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/06/2025 - 08/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C325 LODGE ROAD, STATION ROAD AND THE STREET, C324 HALL FARM ROAD AND U3307 HASKETON ROAD, GREAT BEALINGS AND LITTLE BEALINGS
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
1. C325 Lodge Road, Great Bealings from the junction with Lower Street to the junction with Seckford Hall Road
2. U3307 Hasketon Road, Great Bealings from the junction with Hall Farm Road to Laverock Hill
3. C324 Hall Farm Road, Great Bealings from the junction with Hasketon Road to the Granary
4. C325 Station Road, Little Bealings from Mallard House to the junction with The Street and the C325 The Street, Little Bealings from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Lodge Road.
This is to facilitate installation of fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
1. Rosery Lane, Hall Farm Road, Lower Street, Lodge Road, the C324, Grundisburgh Road, the A12 Woodbridge, Ipswich Road, Top Street, The Street, Bealings Road, Martlesham Road, Station Road, The Street and vice versa.
2. Hall Farm Road, the C324, Grundisburgh Road and vice versa.
3. Rosery Lane, Lodge Road, The Street, Holly Lane, Boot Street, the C324, Grundisburgh Road, Bealings Lane, Hasketon Road and vice versa.
4. Lodge Road, Rosery Lane, Hall Farm Road, Boot Street, Holly Lane, Lodge Road, the C324, Grundisburgh Road, the A12 Woodbridge, Ipswich Road, Top Street, The Street, Bealings Road, Martlesham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
1. 18/06/2025 – 06/07/2025
2. 07/07/2025 – 15/07/2025
3. 25/07/2025 – 30/07/2025
4. 31/07/2025 – 10/08/2025
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U4730 BUCKS HEAD LANE, U4710 HOLLOW LANE, THE GREEN AND CODDENHAM GREEN, CREETING ST MARY AND CODDENHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
? U4730 Bucks Head Lane, Creeting St Mary
? U4710 Hollow Lane, Coddenham
? U4710 The Green, Coddenham
? U4710 Coddenham Green, Creeting St Mary.
This is to facilitate carriageway patching prior to surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1078, the A140 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/06/2025 – 20/06/2025 from 8am – 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C342 THE STREET, SHOTTISHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C342 The Street, Shottisham from no. 1 for 20 metres south westbound to facilitate replacing a water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1083, Hollesley Road, Alderton and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/06/2025 - 20/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1113 FINNINGHAM ROAD, OLD NEWTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1113 Finningham Road, Old Newton from no. 26 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate remedial works for defect. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, the A140, the A1120, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 18/06/2025 - 6am on 19/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF
THE C466 CLAY HILL AND THE C495 SWAN HILL, HINTLESHAM AND COPDOCK AND WASHBROOK
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C466 Clay Hill, Hintlesham from Hill Crest to the junction with Duke Street to facilitate excavation to clear telecommunications blockages. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The Street, Washbrook Road, Chattisham Road, Hollow Road, Back Lane, Swan Hill, the A1071, Duke Street and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the C495 Swan Hill, Copdock and Washbrook from the junction with the A1071 to the junction with The Street.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 17/06/2025 - 19/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C663 STATION ROAD, LITTLE SAXHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C663 Station Road, Little Saxham from 50 metres north of the junction with Claas for 35 metres northbound to facilitate a bridge inspection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Road from A14 to C629, South Street, the A14, A14 Junction with the A1302/B1106 Westbound, St. Edmundsbury, the A1302, Westley Road, Bury Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 18/06/2025 from 10am – 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1630 CHURCH STREET, SOUTHWOLD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1630 Church Street, Southwold from 34 metres north of the junction with the A1095 for 15 metres northbound to facilitate water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1095, Victoria Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/06/2025 – 20/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARISH OF STONHAM ASPAL) (FOOTPATH 36) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
This order, which came into effect on 13/12/2024 closing Footpath 36, Stonham Aspal has been extended in force by the Minister until 31/12/2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
This closure is required to facilitate the construction of a residential development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. If the order had not been extended it would have ceased to be in force on 12/06/2025.
