Coventry Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Works
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(COVENTRY ROAD, SHELDON – 17079029) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding along Coventry Road, Inbound Lane 1 and Outbound Lane 1 near its junction with Lyndon Road.
The temporary Order is required to enable Major Sprint 2 Works in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 16th June 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 15 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
