What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Hollow Way Lane, Chesham Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hollow Way Lane for approx. 311m.
Alternative route: St Leonards Road, Hollow Way Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Affinity Water works commence on 16 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Brook Street, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Brook Street for approx. 127m.
Alternative route: Oxford Road, Archway, Oxford Street, Abbey Way, access to Eden Shopping Centre, Westbourne Street, Brook Street and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst broadband installation works commence on 16 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Cock Ln, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Cock Ln for approx. 572m.
Alternative route: Cock Ln, New Rd, Church Rd, Hampdenley Ln, London Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Openreach tree cutting and cabling works commence on 15 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Daws Hill Ln, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Daws Hill Ln for approx. 54m.
Alternative route: Marlow Hill, Daws Hill Ln and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst pole installation with rigging and testing works commence on 16 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Colstrope Ln, Colstrope) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Colstrope Ln for approx. 110m.
Alternative route: Bottom Hill, Rockwell End Hill Rd, Rockwell End Ln and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst SSEN 2 tx roll holes for new connection works commence on 27 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Parmoor Ln, Frieth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Parmoor Ln for approx. 246m.

The closure is required whilst SSEN 2 tx roll holes for new connection works commence on 25 June 2025.

which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bullocks Farm Ln for approx. 60m.

The closure is required whilst National Highways bridge expansion joint replacement works commence on 30 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Coldmoorholme Ln, Well End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coldmoorholme Ln for approx. 37m.
The closure is required whilst Neoscorp Ltd works to install chamber for a sewerage substation works commence on 23 June 2025.
Access to be maintained.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Kiln Ln, Cores End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Kiln Ln for approx. 669m.
Alternative route: Kiln Ln, Brookbank, Town Ln, Wooburn Town, Windsor Ln, Windsor Hill, Broad Ln, Widmoor and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Cityfibre access to the chamber top and cabling works commence on 23 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Newtown Rd, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Newtown Rd for approx. 112m.
Alternative route: Little Marlow Rd, Glade Rd, Dedmere Rd, Newtown Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst pole replacement works commence on 23 June 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Hotley Bottom Ln, Kiln Rd, Moat Ln, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the following roads: Hotley Bottom Ln, Kiln Rd, Moat Ln for approx. 1797m.
Alternative route: Rignall Rd, Glade Rd, Hotley Bottom Ln and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Affinity Water main renewal works take place in 4 phases.
The duration for the works:
Phase 1 will be from Kiln Gardens to Kiln Rd from 14 July – 21 August.
Phase 2 will be from Prestwood Ln to Hawthorn Dene from 21 August – 3 Sept.
Phase 3 from Hotley Bottom Ln to Hampden Rd from 16 June 2025.
