& TEMPORARY ONE WAY) ORDER (NO 138) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE MADE TEMPORARILY ONE WAY: Horsefair, Pontefract from the entrance to the bus station to Finkle Street, Pontefract.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stuart Road, Front Street, Jubilee Way, Southgate, Broad Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 17th June 2025 to 15th October 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 17th June 2025 to 15th October 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for resurfacing to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Stuart Road, Pontefract, right turn ban onto Northgate/Finkle Street, Pontefract.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th June 2025 to 15th October 2025, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing of carriageway and footway improvement work to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Stansfield Close, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Stansfield Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Access to be maintained.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 18th June 2025 to 27th June 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 146) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for the installation of gully
connected to the soakaway work to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Green Lane, Cutsyke from outside The Cedars to the entrance to The Sawmill. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Green Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Green Lane, Flass Lane, Leeds Road, Aketon Road, Westwood Road, Green Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th June 2025 at 07.30 hours to 20th June 2025 at 15.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(ENGLAND LANE, KNOTTINGLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 154) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for bridge inspection on behalf of Network Rail to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: England Lane, Knottingley, for 20 metres either side of the railway line. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of England Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: England Lane, Spawd Bone Lane, Womersley Road, Weeland Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th June 2025 at 23.15 hours to 29th June 2025 at 09.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(TUN LANE, SOUTH HIENDLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 156) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for tree trimming/felling on behalf of Northern Powergrid to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Tun Lane, South Hiendley. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Tun Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: George Street & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2025 at 09.30 hours to 16.30 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for tree trimming/felling on behalf of Northern Powergrid to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Well Hill Lane, South Hiendley. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Well Hill Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: George Street, Kirkgate Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th June 2025 at 09.30 hours to 16.30 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 158) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate and locate cable, joint new cable and reinstate excavations to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Nunns View, Featherstone for approximately 50 metres.
The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Nunns View.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2025 to 7th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(CUTSYKE ROAD, CASTLEFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 159) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for structure surveys
to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Cutsyke Road, Castleford for approximately 189 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their 
junctions the closed length of Cutsyke Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Cutsyke Road, Bruce Smeaton Way, Leeds Road, Leeds Barnsdale Road, Willowbridge Lane, Whitwood Common Lane, Normanton Interchange, Pontefract Road, Loscoe Lane, Normanton Bypass, Castleford Lane, Cutsyke Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th June 2025 at 20.00 hours to 1st July 2025 at 06.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(DONCASTER ROAD, KNOTTINGLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 161) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for bridge inspection on
behalf of Network Rail to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Doncaster Road, Knottingley. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Doncaster Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Access to be maintained.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2025 at 23.00 hours to 2nd July 2025 at 06.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
