(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(CROSS WELLS ROAD, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cross Wells Road from its junction with Hob Lane for a distance of approximately 340 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Lane Head Road, unaffected part of Cross Wells Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 17:00.
(HOB LANE, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hunger Hill from its junction with Skircoat Road to Unit 3 for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Skircoat Road, Free School Lane, Shaw Hill, Shay Syke, unaffected part of Hunger Hill and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LONG LANE, WHEATLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Long Lane from No. 238 to No. 248 for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Shroggs Road, Wheatley Road, Lane Ends and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:00.
(LUDDENDEN LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Luddenden Lane from No. 3 to No. 5 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Ellen Royd Lane, Naylor Lane, Solomon Hill, New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.
(MARSDEN GATE, SOWOOD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marsden Gate from Marsden Gate Farm to junction with Forest Hill Road for a distance of approximately 490 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via New Hey Road, Gosport Lane, Forest Hill Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(SOWERBY CROFT LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Croft Lane from its junction with Boggart Lane to Berry Moor Road for a distance of approximately 1000 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.The alternative route is via Harper Royd Lane, Hob Lane, Shaw Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(WYTEHILL CHASE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wytehill Chase at its junction with Almond Court for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 13:30.
(HANSON LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hanson Lane from its junction with Albert Street to Horne Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Pellon Lane, Horne Street, unaffected part of Hanson Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of The Crescent from No. 5 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be available for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(EASTGATE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Eastgate from its junction with Briggate to No. 3 for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 01:00.
(MILE CROSS ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mile Cross Road from No. 6 to No. 8 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring Hall Lane, Warley Road, Hopwood Lane, Westbury Place and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(ROUGH HALL LANE, WAINSTALLS) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Communication Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rough Hall Lane from its junction with Wainstalls Road to 1 Sun Buildings for a distance of approximately 32 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Wainstalls Lane, Mount Tabor Road, Wainstalls Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(FOOTPATH ELLAND 011, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Network Rail have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Elland 011 from its junction with Footpath Elland 014 to Elland 019 north of the railway line for a distance of approximately 486 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. For alternative route follow diversion posted on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th December 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LANE HEAD ROAD/SOYLAND TOWN ROAD, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lane Head Road/Soyland Town Road from Hob Lane to Stony Lane for a distance of approximately 640 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Royd Lane, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, Clay Pits Lane, Alma Lane, Lumb Lane, Mill Bank Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 17:00.
(MIALL STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Miall Street from Battinson Road to Rushton Street for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Miall Street, Queens Road, Rushton Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(BULL GREEN, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Equans Regeneration have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Bull Green footway from Bull Close Lane side of Bull Green House for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
