Wiltshire, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A C155 (Part), Lacock,

from a point approximately 300m northwest of its junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 110m in a north westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out construction of a vehicle access and associated works.

Alternative route via: C155 (unaffected length) – B3353 – A350 – A3102 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 and the closure will be required until 11 July 2025.

B Netherstreet (Part), Bromham,

from its property known as Brooklands 52 for a distance of approximately 400m in a south westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out CCTV investigation work and other associated works.

Alternative route via: Netherstreet (unaffected length) – A342 – Yard Lane – Netherstreet (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 until 11 July 2025.

B3097 (Part), Heywood and North Bradley,

from its roundabout junction with Link Road to its roundabout junction with C7 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Alternative route via: C7 – A350 – B3097 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 02 July 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 on weekdays only until 16 July 2025.

D Church Acre (Part), Bradford on Avon,

for a distance of approximately 85m in an easterly direction to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out their service supply and associated works.

No alternative route is available.

This Order will come into operation on 01 July 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 23:59 for 4 days.

B3098 (Part), Erlestoke,

from its property known as No.05 Glorious for a distance of approximately 15m in a north westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out new foul connection works and other associated works.

Alternative route via: Stormore (unaffected length) – B3098 – Cleaveroak – Stormore (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 5 days.

F Fiddington Hill (Part), Market Lavington,

from its property known as Chimney Farm for a distance of approximately 3.5m in an easterly direction to enable Davis Groundworks Ltd to carry out new foul water connection and associated works.

No alternative route is available.

This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 and the closure will be required until 18 July 2025.

G Cottles Lane, Winsley,

from its junction with C235 to its junction with C391 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out associated works.

Alternative route via: C391 – C230 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 until 11 July 2025.

H B3107 (Part), Bradford on Avon,

South Wraxall and Holt; from its junction with Cemetery Lane to its junction with B3105 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Alternative route via: B3105 – B3109 – B3107 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 1 night.

I C165 (Part), Lacock,

from outside its property known as Mead Farm for a distance of approximately 400m in a north westerly direction to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out new private service and associated works.

Alternative route via: C165 (unaffected length) – Hither Way – Melksham Road – A350 – A3102 – C165 – C155 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for 1 day.

Orders A to L will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The actual closure period will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

SECTION 16(A) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

J Bradford Road (Part), Atworth,

from its junction with Coronation Street to its junction with Church Street to enable filming to be undertaken.

Alternative route via: Bradford Road (unaffected length) – C212 – C239 – A365 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 03 July 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 18:00 and 01:00.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely.

Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
