What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Drove Loan, Head of Muir from 08:00 on 16/06/25 until 17:00 on 19/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Drove Loan, Head of Muir from a point adjacent to Drove Loan Crescent in a southerly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C43, A872, A803, C69, C43 or vice versa.

New Hallglen Road from 07.30 hours on 16/06/2025 until 17.00 hours on 21/06/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes New Hallglen Road form its junction Dochart place for approximately 340m in an East direction
2. The alternative route: New Hallglen Road, B8028 Hallglen Roundabout , Glen Brae, B803 High Station Road, Cow Wynd, St Crispin’s Place, Arnot Street, Corporation Street, Bellevue Street Roundabout, Callendar Road, Bellsmeadow Roundabout, Callendar Road, Callendar Park Roundabout, Callendar Road, Mary Street Roundabout, B805 Old Redding Road, B805 Redding Road Roundabout, Hallglen Road and vice versa.

Bantaskine Drive, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 16/06/2025 until 17.00 hours on 08/08/2025. The prohibition is to allow for footway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Bantaskine Drive from its junction with Maggie Woods Loan to its junction with Bantaskine Road
2. The alternative route: Bantaskine Drive, Maggie Woods Loan, Derwent Avenue, Shannon Drive, Bantaskine Road and vice versa.

Souillac Drive, Denny from 08:00 on 16/06/25 until 23:59 on 20/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Souillac Drive, Denny from a point adjacent to number 26 in an easterly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable: local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Station Road, Brightons from 08:00 on 18/06/25 until 16:00 on 01/07/25. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Station Road, Brightons from a point adjacent to number 1 in a northerly direction on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
