What is happening?

C363 STATION ROAD STANNINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 5 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C363 Station Road Stannington from 151 metres eastwards of its junction with Ridge Grove, Stannington heading eastwards across the level crossing for a distance of 32 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th July 2025 until the 6th July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 22:20 hours on the 5th July 2025 until 09:35 hours on the 6th July 2025 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th July 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C363, U9076, A1, B1337, A192 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Core Highways for core track renewal works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
