NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH) (VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS 25-26 (NO1J)) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1) Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) New Market Street, Clitheroe, both sides, from a point 63 metres north east of its junction with the Centreline of Parson Lane for a distance of 16 metres in a general north westerly direction;
b) New Market Street, Clitheroe, the north east side, from a point 79 metres north west of its junction with the Centreline of Parson Lane for a distance of 11 metres in a general south easterly direction;
c) New Market Street, Clitheroe, the south east side, from a point 63 metres north east of its junction with the Centreline of Parson Lane for a distance of 7.5 metres in a general north easterly direction;
d) Shawbridge Street, Clitheroe, the north side, from its junction with the Centreline of Waterloo Road to its junction with the Centreline of Taylor Street;
e) Shawbridge Street, Clitheroe, the north east side, from its junction with the Centreline of Taylor Street for a distance of 64 metres in a south easterly direction;
f) Shawbridge Street, Clitheroe, the south side, from its junction with the Centreline of Waterloo Road for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction;
g) Unnamed Road, Clitheroe, the eastern side, from its junction with the Centreline of Shawbridge Street for a distance of 16 metres in a north easterly direction;
h) Taylor Street, Clitheroe, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Shawbridge Street for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction.
2) Introduce a prohibition of loading and unloading in the following lengths of road:
a) Railway View Avenue, Clitheroe, the east side, from its junction with the Centreline of King Street for a distance of 36 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Railway View Avenue, Clitheroe, the west side, from its junction with the Centreline of King Street to its junction with the Centreline of Rear of King Street.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, BB7 2RA and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
