What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
1. Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those lengths of
road in the City of Doncaster District as described in part 1 of
the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
therein,
2. Prohibit any person allowing a vehicle to park, wait or
load on those lengths of road described in part 2 of the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
therein. Any contravention of this prohibition will result in a
Penalty Charge Notice being issued and the subsequent
removal of the vehicle.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public whilst
an Armed Forces Day Parade takes place.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is by signed diversion.

Sepulchre Gate and St Georges Gate.
5. Close High Street, in its entirety.
6. Close Scot Lane, in its entirety.
7. Close Sunny Bar in its entirety.
8. Close Wood Street between its junctions with Cleveland
Street and Princegate.

10. Close Hall Gate in its entirety.
11. Close Waterdale between its junction of Hall Gate and

access allowed via Welbeck Road direction as far as the
rear car park to the Earl of Doncaster Hotel.

Saturday 28th June 2025 between 09:30hrs and 12:30hrs

1. Duke Street along its entire length.
2. St Sepulchre Gate along the length between its junctions
with Duke Street and High Street.
3. High Street along its entire length.
4. Printing Office Street along its entire length.
5. Priory Place along its entire length.
6. Scot Lane along its entire length.
7. Wood Street along the lengths between its junctions with
Princegate and Cleveland Street.
8. Hall Gate along its entire length.
9. South Parade along the length between its junctions with
Thorne Road and Bennetthorpe
10. Bennetthorpe along the length between its junctions with
South Parade to a point 230m east.
11. Roman Road along its entire length.
Those residents and businesses directly affected by this event
are to be notified of the road closures and parking restrictions
to include any access arrangements.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)
ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and the
effect will be to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding
in that length of Sandyfields View to Repton Road footpath at
Carcroft in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to lay a new gas service are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for all
pedestrian traffic affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works notified of the
scheme and access arrangements.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that length of Doncaster Road at Pickburn in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice
on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for replacement of overhead
conductor to reinforce network are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Red House Lane,
Pickburn Lane.

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of New Close Lane at Skelbrooke in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to install telecoms ducting apparatus
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via A1, Scorcher Hills Lane, Grange
Lane, Burghwallis Road, Sutton Road, Bone Lane, New Road
and vice versa.
