Notice of Proposed Special Event
Mallusk Harriers – 5mile Road Race

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has received an
application from Mallusk Harriers to hold the below event;
Mallusk Harriers 5-mile Road Race on Friday 8th August 2025.
By Virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule
3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 the
Council gives notice that it is minded to make an Order to temporarily
restrict or prohibit vehicular traffic from using Mallusk Road (between
Hydepark Road and Cottonmount Road), Sealstown Road, Boghill
Road and Hydepark Road on Friday 8th August 2025 between the
hours of 19:15hrs and 20:40hrs
Arrangements can be made to inspect the application free of
charge, by contacting the Council on the number and/or
email below.
Persons wishing to make representations to the Council regarding the
proposal may do so in writing at the address below by 5pm Thursday
3rd July 2025. Representations received after this will not
be considered.
