Matlock Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MATLOCK ROAD, WESSINGTON

WHEN: 27 June to 28 June 2025 between (20:00 and 3:00).
WHERE: Matlock Road, Wessington from its jct. with Wistances Green for a distance of 30m in a south easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate water service connection works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A615 Matlock Road to Matlock, A632 to Chesterfield, Whitecotes Lane, St Augustines Road, A61 to Alfreton, Eachwell Lane, A615 Wingfield Road, A615 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
