(Furlongs, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Furlongs, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with The Knowle for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG5NLR6W – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover repair works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Furlongs, Mapleford Sweep, Collingwood Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th June 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 12th June 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.
A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA002WFRV9T1P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance and spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
No diversion route is available.

(Ashdon Way, Kingswood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
& (Temporary Closure of Right Hand Turn Bus Lane on Nether Mayne, Basildon) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Ashdon Way, Kingswood in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Nethermayne to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 300m in both directions.
To temporarily close the right-hand turn Bus Lane from Nether Mayne, Basildon into Ashdon Way, Kingswood, in the Borough of Basildon for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2025 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A210165155941 & A210180390092-01 – Mua Electricity Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trench excavation for cabling works are undertaken by Mua Electricity Limited.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Mountnessing Road, Billericay/Mountnessing in the Boroughs of Basildon and Brentwood, from the junction of The Links to the junction of Old Church Lane, a distance of approximately 775m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2382418 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Alternative Route: via Old Church Lane, Wash Road, Rayleigh Road, London Road, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Seax Way, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with Sable Way for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd June 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG3TFK8L – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
