ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (NON-DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH TOWN FIELDS CLOSE/PYRAMID PARK, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:–

Non definitive footpath – between Town fields Close and Duke Street, Bury

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate remediation works in pyramid park

There will be no alternative route into the park

The proposed Order will come into operation on 23/06/2025 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months.
