What is happening?

Temporary Traffic
Regulation
Lenaghan Avenue, Castlereagh

Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
using its powers under Article 7 (1) and (3) of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, has temporarily
prohibited the use, by traffic of:-
Lenaghan Avenue, Castlereagh from Saintfield Road to
Lenaghan Park.
This road will be closed from Monday 15th June until Friday
16th August 2025, from 08:00hrs until 18:00hrs each day.
The closure is required for DfI Roads Eastern
(Resurfacing works).
Alternative route: Saintfield Road – Lenaghan Park.
Parking and Waiting -
Belfast
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory
Rule entitled “The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Belfast)
Order (Northern Ireland) 2025” (S.R. 2025 No. 97) which
comes into operation on 20 June 2025.
The Rule will consolidate the existing parking and waiting
restrictions in Belfast into one Order. Vehicles are excepted
from the restrictions in certain circumstances.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during
office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by
appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either

Parking Places – Disabled
Persons’ Vehicles
The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule
entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles)
(Amendment No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025”, (S.R.
2025 No. 99) which comes into operation on 20 June 2025.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting
in Bangor, Derry/Londonderry, Dunloy, Enniskillen and
Newtownards and remove parking places with unlimited
waiting in Cookstown and Derry/Londonderry.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during
office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)
by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by
