Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Borough Boundary West Of Lukes Cottage To Barton Lane, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Borough Boundary West Of Lukes Cottage To Barton Lane, Newquay from near Lakes Cottage to junction with Road From Junction South Of The Vale To Borough Boundary South Of Coswarth Cottages.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Canton Street, Gorran Haven) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gorran Haven. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th June 2025 to 25th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Dennis. 

This prohibition is necessary for parapet repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2025 to 25th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Highgate To Trerice Road, St Dennis between property known as Meadowside and junction with B3279 From Highgate Hill Roundabout To Alton Cottage.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Lower Bore Street, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 2300, weekdays only.

The County of Cornwall (Kerriers Road, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. 

This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2025 to 4th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Kerriers Road, Bodmin from near property known as Kerris Vale to property known as The Bungalow.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bugle. 

This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th June 2025 to 27th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Junction South Of Bowling Green To Treskilling, Bugle between Horseshoe Haven to just past Trenisson Park. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in High Street. 

This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2025 to 1st July 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Burngullow Lane, High Street for the length of Tehidy Cottages. 

An alternative route will be signed on site.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Hornick Hill, High Street) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in High Street. 

This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th June 2025 to 2nd July 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Hornick Hill, High Street between properties Highfield and Trimountain. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being North Street, St Austell between the junctions of Market Street and Market Hill. 

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary one-way restriction over an area of highway being Market Hill, St Austell for its entire length in a South to Northerly direction and Market Street, St Austell for its entire length in an West to Easterly direction. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to erect scaffolding and refurbishment works to hotel. The Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st August 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, bus traffic, school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Higher Lane, Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Higher Lane, Wadebridge from junction with Green Hill to junction with Mill Rise. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footway between Trenance Avenue and Robartes Road, Newquay for its entire length. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to unsafe wall. The Order will come into operation on 6th June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 31st October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 16th May 2025 fora period of 21 days. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
