Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, TN12 8DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for reinstatement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, on or after 6th July 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sandhole Cottage, works to begin at 08:00 on Sunday and will be removed by 05:00 Monday. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Lamberhurst Road, The Heath, Brenchley Road, Horsmonden Road, High Street, Brenchley Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Kippings Cross Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Blue Boys Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Lamberhurst Quarter, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A262 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.
Amhurst Bank Road, Capel (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new drainage connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Amhurst Bank Road, Capel, on or after 1st July 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Amhurst Granary, between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Amhurst Bank Road, Half Moon Lane, Alders Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road, Redwings Lane and vice versa.
Beulah Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 3RL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beulah Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of St. James Road to the junction of Camden Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching from St. James Road is via St James Road, Quarry Road, Camden Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching from Granville Road is via Granville Road, Albion Road, St James Road, Quarry Road, Camden Road.
Farnham Lane, Langton Green, TN3 0JT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gully replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farnham Lane, Langton Green, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from approximately 100 metres west of Hole Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Farnham Lane, Dornden Drive, Longmeads, Nellington Road and vice versa.
Folly Hill, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for water asset works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Folly Hill, Cranbrook, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Redwater Farm Barn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Folly Hill, Colliers Green Road, Marden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A229 Wilsley Pound, A229 The Common, A229 Camden Hill, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Cranbrook Road, Pinnock Lane, Goudhurst Road and vice versa.
Golford Road, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Golford Road, Cranbrook, on or after 17th June 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Tenterden Road to New Pond Wood, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Golford Road, Goddards Green Road, Benenden Road, Cranbrook Road, Tenterden Road and vice versa.
Hatmill Lane, Brenchley, TN12 7AG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new electric supply to be connected, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hatmill Lane, Brenchley, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Retreat. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tibbs Court Lane, Fairmans Lane, Hatmill Lane and vice versa.
Salomons Road, Rusthall, TN4 8RF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for new a electricity connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Salomons Road, Rusthall, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 12. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Station Road, Paddock Wood, TN12 6EN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new sewer connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Paddock Wood, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside property numbers 7 and 9, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Station Road, Commercial Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, Station Road and vice versa.
Stockland Green Road, Southborough, TN3 0TY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new electric supply to be installed, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stockland Green Road, Southborough, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Birchetts Bungalow. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stockland Green Road, Etherington Hill and vice versa.
