Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

GRAVESHAM AREA

 

Coutts Avenue, Shorne, DA12 3JW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new gas connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coutts Avenue, Shorne, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 20.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Dickens Road, Gravesend, DA12 2HS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dickens Road, Gravesend, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 58.

The alternative route is via Rose Avenue, Ingoldsby Road, Shamrock Road, Dickens Road and vice versa.

 

Granville Road, Gravesend, DA11 0JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Granville Road, Gravesend, on or after 3rd July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via Pelham Road, Lennox Road, Campbell Road, Granville Road and vice versa.

 

Kitchener Avenue, Gravesend, DA12 5JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kitchener Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 78.

The alternative route is via Kitchener Avenue, Gloucester Road, Princes Road, York Road and vice versa.

 

Lillechurch Road, Higham, ME3 7HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow the installation of new fibre optic cable and duct, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lillechurch Road, Higham, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Lillechurch Farm and Gore Green Road.

The alternative route is via Lillechurch Road, B2000 Town Road, Lower Rochester Road, Gore Green Road and vice versa.

 

Norwood Lane, Meopham, DA13 0YF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Norwood Lane, Meopham, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Waywood.

The alternative route is via Norwood Lane, A227 Wrotham Road, Green Lane and vice versa.
