Rosse Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROSSE STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Rosse Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Rosse Street for approximately 20 metres from its junction with Thornton Road to approximately 100 metres in a southerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Rosse Street (unaffected section), Syedna Way, Ingleby Road, Thornton Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 9th June 2025 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 27th June 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
