Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
A206 BOB DUNN WAY, MARSH STREET NORTH, FASTRACK, THE BRIDGE, DARTFORD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
The 16th Bridge Triathlon & 1st Sprint Bike Tri Cross
Kent County Council has made an Order for the safety of the public whilst events are being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-
The 16th Bridge Triathlon 22 June 2025
A206 Bob Dunn Way – prohibition of eastbound traffic between the hours of 16:30hrs to 04:30hrs. The alternative route is via A2026 Burnham Road/Victoria Road/Hythe Street, A226 Westgate Road/Home Gardens/East Hill/The Brent/London Road, A206 St Clements Way/Crossways Boulevard.
Marsh Street North – at the entrance to the estate between the hours of 16:30hrs to 04:30hrs. The alternative route is via Rennie Drive.
1st Sprint Bike Tri Cross 10 August 2025
This event is taking place on the Fastrack Network, official name is Fastrack, The Bridge and also closing a section of Marsh Street North. Closures to take place between 0600hrs to 1000hrs.
Fastrack permission has been given.
Fastrack, The Bridge – No diversion required, the route is for Fastrack buses only
Marsh Street North – at the entrance to the estate between the hours of 16:30hrs to 04:30hrs. The alternative route is via Rennie Drive.
The Order will become effective on 22 June and 10 August 2025. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs in operation.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:
• Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.
• Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
• Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.
Childs Crescent, Swanscombe, DA10 0DN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new electricity service to be installed, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Childs Crescent, Swanscombe, on or after 2nd July 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 6.
The alternative route is via Childs Crescent, Milton Street and vice versa.
Longfield Avenue, Longfield, DA3 7LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new electricity supply to be installed, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Longfield Avenue, Longfield, on or after 5th July 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 17 and 26.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
