Hambledon - Temporary Road Closures due to Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES –
HARROW GATE LANE & RUSHMERE LANE, HAMBLEDON, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the roads.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
• that part of Harrow Gate Lane between its junction with Rushmere Lane and its junction with Mays Well Lane.
• that part of Rushmere Lane between its junction with B2150 Well Hill and a point approx. 475m north of the junction with Harrow Gate Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pitt Hill Lane, Speltham Hill, Bury Lodge Lane, B2150.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 17th June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30–15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out a pole replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
