What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING

NOTICE OF MAKING OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED WORKS AFFECTING: VICTORIA ROAD & WALES FARM ROAD, PARK ROYAL.

Ealing Council has made the following temporary traffic order under sections 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

Title of order
This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order for planned works - TT 4650 Victoria Road & Wales Farm Road, Park Royal - 2025.

Reason for order
This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road. These works involve a tower crane operation to take place.

Effect of order
- This order will close Victoria Road & Wales Farm Road where both junctions meet from 00.01hrs on 31st May 2025 and will reopen to all traffic at 05.00hrs on 2nd June 2025.

Provisional have been added for
- 07th -09th June 2025
- 14th -16th June 2025
- 21st -23rd June 2025
- 28th -30th June 2025 only if the planned dates of 31st May to 2nd June 2025 have not gone ahead.

1. No entry into the fully closed section of Victoria Road & Wales Farm Road.

(a) No waiting, loading, or unloading on either side of the carriageway within the fully closed section.
(a) No entry into the fully closed section of Boston Road.

2. The above temporary restrictions and prohibitions will only apply at specified locations where appropriate traffic signs are provided and displayed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.

3. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles should follow the diversions displayed in place to reach their destinations and comply with any traffic management measures.

4. This Order does not apply to:

(a) anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO).

(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance.

Date order will come into force. 31st May 2025

Maximum duration of order
This order will expire on 30th November 2026, or upon completion of works which is expected to be 2nd June 2025 - whichever is sooner. All dates are subject to weather and are indicative.
