THE BIG LUNCH CELEBRATIONS: SATURDAY 7TH JUNE AND SUNDAY 8TH JUNE 2025

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER

The Council of the London Borough of Bromley hereby GIVE NOTICE that in order to enable the holding of The Big Lunch Celebrations on the specified date THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions:

The following roads will be closed to through traffic at the times the individual signs are displayed on Saturday 7th June 2025:

Beckenham Town & Copers Cope Chancery Lane – for its entire length, from 11am – Midnight

Downs Road – for its entire length, from 11am – 10pm

Limes Road – for its entire length, from 11am – Midnight

Stumps Hill Lane – from No.2 to No.18 Stumps Hill Lane, From 12 noon – 10pm

Bromley Common & Keston Hayfield Road – from No.1 to No.39 Sibley Street Road, From 11am – 8pm

Holbrook Way – from No.48 to No.64 Holbrook Way, From 12 noon – 8pm

Southlands Road – from No.48 to No.72 Southlands Road, From 12.30pm - 4.30pm

Sunray Avenue – from No.62 to No.68 Sunray Avenue, From 12 noon – 11pm

Petts Wood & Knoll Great Thrift – from its junction with Silverdale Road to its junction with Little Thrift, From 12 noon – 9pm

Hazelmere Road – from its junction with Manor Way to the junction with Towncourt Crescent, From 2pm – 8pm

Heath Side – from No.16 to No.34 Heath Side, From 12 noon – 6pm

The Court – from No.36 to No.46 The Court, From 2pm – 8pm

Shortlands & Park Langley Overhill Way – from No.1 to No.56 Overhill Way, From 8am – 5pm

West Wickham Hayes Chase – from No.96 to No. 130 Hayes Chase, from 11am – 5pm

Little Court – from No.3 to No.14 Little Court, From 10am – 7pm

The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTHING in this Order shall prevent pedestrian access at any time to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the Order relates, or to any other premises which are accessible from such a road.

ACCESS to premises will be maintained as far as is practicable at either side of the closure as indicated on traffic management signs and access will be maintained at all times.
