Suffolk, Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1115 WALDINGFIELD ROAD, SUDBURY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1115 Waldingfield Road, Sudbury (map number 54) for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be from for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A131, the A134 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 05/06/2025 – 6am on 06/06/2025. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C767 BORLEY ROAD AND HALSTEAD ROAD, LONG MELFORD AND FOXEARTH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
C767 Borley Road, Long Melford
C767 Halstead Road, Foxearth from Lower Road to Borley Road
This is to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1064, the A131, Bulmer Road, Kitchen Hill, Finch Hill, Hall Road, School Road, Lower Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 14/06/2025 – 15/06/2025 from 8am - 8pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1112 STATION ROAD, LAKENHEATH AND HOCKWOLD CUM WILTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
B1112 Station Road, Lakenheath from Wangford Road to Station Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton
B1112 Station Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton from Station Road, Lakenheath to Cowles Drove
This is to facilitate surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1112, Malt’s Lane, Main Street, Brandon Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton, Hockwold Road, Main Road, Brandon Road, Weeting, the A1065, the B1112 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 14/06/2025 – 15/06/2025 from 10am - 3pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
