What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2025 (No.23)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
Those parts of the following roads:
Hospital Road, Shedfield, Winchester between its junction with Newmans Hill and its junction with Gravel Hill
Forest Road, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh between its junction with Beech Road and its junction with Oakwood Road
Chiltern Drive, New Milton, New Forest between its junction with Three Acre Lane and its junction with Southern Lane
Lankhills Road, Winchester between its junction with B3047 and its termination
Crossways, Hordle, New Forest between its junction with Old Christchurch Road and its termination
Grove Road, Lymington, New Forest between its junction with Queen Katherine Road and its junction with Waterford Lane
Closewood Road, Denmead, Winchester between its junction with Hambledon Road and its junction with Furzeley Corner
Nuns Walk, Hurstbourne Priors, Test Valley between its junction with Winchester Street and its junction with Southside Road
Petersfield Lane, Clanfield, East Hampshire between its junction with Chalton Lane Name and its junction with Gravel Hill
Meliot Rise, Andover, Test Valley between its junction with King Arthurs Way and its termination

DURATION OF ORDER:
From 16th June 2025 for a period of 18 months.
(This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
