C9k Marykirk - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL C9K – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C9k Marykirk - 09.06.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 09.06.25 for 10 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C9k Marykirk from the A90 Junction to Dunthill Railway Bridge.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to the laying of a telecoms duct. An alternative route is available via the A90 - C9K – A937 – C9K and vice versa.
