Various Streets Across Edinburgh - Updates to Controlled Parking Zones

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO. _)  ORDER 202_ - TRO/24/11B, TRO/24/11C, TRO/24/12

The Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: (a) introduce new controlled parking zones that will operate from 08:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The affected roads:

(i) in the case of TRO/24/11B, where priority parking areas B4 and B5 are to be replaced with a new controlled parking zone (Zone N10), are listed in Schedule 1;

(ii) in the case of TRO/24/11C, where a new zone (Zone N9) is to be introduced, are listed in Schedule 2;

(iii) in the case of TRO/24/12, where priority parking area B1 is to be replaced with a new controlled parking zone (Zone S8), are listed in Schedule 3. Specific details are shown in the proposed map tiles. Some restrictions will operate for longer periods and some will operate 24 hours of the day (e.g. disabled bays, double yellow lines); (b) introduce, amend or remove waiting restrictions and/or loading prohibitions, including amendments to their operational hours; (c) introduce or amend pay and display, shared use, permit parking places or garage services permit bays; (d) replace limited waiting bays with pay and display parking places; (e) introduce or amend permits for residents, visitors, retailers, businesses and garage service businesses; (f) introduce Permit Parking Areas in the streets listed in Schedule 4; (g) introduce or amend charges associated with the new zone in respect of pay and display parking and permits for residents, visitors, businesses and retailers. Charges are as set out in Schedule 5. Refund rates are as set out in Schedule 6.
