ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7350 HOME FARM LANE, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7350 Home Farm Lane, Bury St Edmunds, from its junction with Mayfield Road to the junction with Sainsbury’s footpath to a gas mains replacement.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 13/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4306 WHITTON STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4306 Whitton Street, Ipswich from the No. 42 - 76 in its western direction to facilitate an electrical link box replacement.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be: Christchurch Street, Tuddenham Road, Bolton Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 06/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4412 RICHMOND ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the Ipswich Borough:

  • U4412 Richmond Road, Ipswich from Bramford Road to Bramford Lane.

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

  1. Bramford Road, Surbiton Road, Bramford Lane and vice versa.

  2. Richmond Road, Kitchener Road, the A1156 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 03/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5905 DAISY GREEN, GREAT ASHFIELD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5905 Daisy Green, Great Ashfield from 45 metres east of its junction with Long Thurlow Road to 80 metres eastbound to facilitate cabling works.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be: Long Thurlow Road, Ashfield Mill, Main Road, Elmswell Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/06/2025 - 13/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6501 OUSDEN ROAD, THE GREEN OUSDEN ROAD, BURY ROAD AND FRONT STREET THE C682 SUFFIELD GREEN ROAD AND C683 HIGH GREEN, STANSFIELD, HAWKEDON AND REDE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the Stansfield, Hawkedon and Rede areas:

  • U6501 The Green, Ousden from Bury Road to Cousden Road.

  • C682 Suffield Green Road from Bury Road to Stansfield Green.

  • C683 High Green from Ousden Road to Front Street.

This is to facilitate surface dressing patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 06/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6825 Kedington Hill, Little Cornard from 30 metres west at the junction with Peacocks Hall Road for 70 metres eastbound to facilitate the installation of a water supply.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1506, Kedington Hill and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 09/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1065 London Road, Brandon at its junction with Rattlers Road for 115 metres southbound to enable manhole cover works.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1106, the A11, the A1065 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 03/06/2025.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4077 OLD A45, OLD BURY ROAD, HAUGHLEY NEW STREET, LAMBS HAUGHLEY NEW STREET, A1308 TROTT HALL LANE, HAUGHLEY NEW STREET, HAUGHLEY, WETHERDEN, HAUGHLEY AND LINSSELL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following parishes:

  • U4077 Old A45, Wetherden

  • U4068 Haughley New Street, Wetherden

  • A1308 Trott Hall Lane, Haughley New Street to Fishponds Way

    This is to facilitate surface dressing patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

    Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

  1. Northbound: Via the A14, the A1088, the A14 and vice versa.

  2. Southbound: A1088, Old Bury Road, Haughley New Street.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 07/06/2025 from 7am - 7pm.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C682 Higham Road, Gazeley from B1085 Gazeley Road to the junction with Icklingham Road to facilitate water pipe installation.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 13/06/2025.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4044 Lower Dales View Road, Ipswich from Norwich Road to Kensington Road to facilitate manhole cover repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Norwich Road, Valley Road, Dale Hall Lane, Cotswold Avenue, Parkview Road, Dales View Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on the 11/06/2025 from 10am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8600 Cawley Road, Nayland from Park House to Woodside Grange to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bures Road, Campions Hill, Campions Lane, Cawley Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/06/2025 from 8am - 1pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C457 Church Lane, Barham from Thornhill Road to Old Rectory Close to facilitate access to an overhead structure. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

  • Church Lane, Norwich Road, Sandy Lane, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane, Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, The Green and vice versa

  • Diversion 1 for HGVs - The Green, Bells Cross Road, Main Road, The B1078, Sandy Lane, Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, The Green with no vice versa

  • Diversion 2 for HGVs - The Green, Bells Cross Road, Main Road, The B1078, Rectory Road, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane, Norwich Road, Church Lane

    It is intended that the closure will operate on 01/06/2025 from 6am - 8.30am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 20 AND BRIDLEWAYS 47 AND 53, ONEHOUSE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

  • Footpath 20, Onehouse

  • Bridleway 47, Onehouse

  • Bridleway 53, Onehouse

    This is to facilitate construction of a new development. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

    The diversion route will be available on site.

    This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 12/05/2025.

    It is intended that the closure will operate until 12/11/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2814 The Causeway, Middleton from the junction with The Street for 316 metres north westbound to facilitate tree clearance. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be The Street, Mill Street, the B1122, Moor Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/06/2025 - 06/06/2025 from 9.30am - 2.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate on 01/06/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate on 11/06/2025 from 10am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
