TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WOODS LANE, DERBY

WHEN: 14 July 2025 to 16 July 2025 
WHERE: Woods Lane, at its junctions with Stockbrook Street and Monk Street. 
REASON: Drainage works 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Woods Lane – Spring Street– Pelham Street – Stockbrook Street. Stockbrook Street – Abbey
Street – Mercian Way – Uttoxeter New Road – Peet Street – Drewry Lane- Dunkirk – Monk Street. Woods Lane – Farm Street – Boyer Street – Abbey Street – Stockbrook Street

TEMPORARY RIGHT TURN SUSPENSION ORDER ON KEDLESTON ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 30 June 2025 to 04 July 2025 
WHERE: Kedleston Road (5 Lamps), from Garden Street, suspend right turn into Duffield Road
REASON: Carriageway works 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kedleston Road – Duffield Road – Circumnavigate roundabout Broadway – Duffield Road

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LEFT TURN CLOSURE ORDER ON QUEEN STREET, DERBY

WHEN: 30 June 2025 to 04 July 2025 (Daily: 22:00 to 06:00 – Mon
to Sat Overnight Only) 
WHERE: Queen Street, at it’s junction with King Street 
REASON: Construction work 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Queen Street – Full Street – Derwent Street – St Alkmund’s Way – King Street and Cathedral Road – Full Street – Derwent Street – St Alkmund’s Way – King Street
