What is happening?

The County of Cornwall (Rashleigh Lane, Fowey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Fowey. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th July 2025 to 10th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Rashleigh Lane, Fowey from outside No 11 to junction with Lankelly Lane.

The County of Cornwall Lanwithan Road, Lerryn Road, Road From Lerryn Hill To Harris’s Orchard, Lostwithiel, Road From Junction North Of Lerryn View To Yonder Cottage, Lerryn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Lostwithiel. This prohibition is necessary for works to repair carriageway surfacing and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2025 to 11th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Lanwithan Road, Lerryn Road, Road From Lerryn Hill To Harris’s Orchard, Lostwithiel for their entire lengths, Road From Junction North Of Lerryn View To Yonder Cottage, Lerryn from Harris’s Orchard to Lerryn View. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being section of footway at Long Steps, Lostwithiel Street, Fowey. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to unstable wall.
The Order will come into operation on 11th June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 29th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 21st May 2025 for a period of 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Road From The 83247 Between Military Road And Withnoe Lane To Radford Lane, Millbrook) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Millbrook. This prohibition is necessary for sewer level equipment works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th June 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 to 1700 hours weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From The B3247 Between Military Road And Withnoe Lane To Radford Lane, Millbrook between the Old Quarry and grid reference SX 41810 51702. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington. This prohibition is necessary for gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2025 to 26th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2025 to 24th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th July 2025 to 14th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
