WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH LB5 (PART) – UPTON)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Order made by West Northamptonshire Council on 7th December 2023 and which came into effect on 12th December 2023 has been extended until the works to which it relates have been completed or until midnight on 12th June 2026 whichever is sooner by the Secretary of State for Transport. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said footpath is unaffected.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for health and safety as the development is still ongoing and the permanent diversion of the footpath has not yet been completed. It is anticipated that works will be completed within the next year, although it is hoped the permanent diversion will be completed before this and a new route opened.
