(North Mundham: B2166 & Church Road) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:
(i) prohibit vehicles from travelling along Church Road at the junction with the B2166; and
(ii) prohibit any vehicles from driving at a speed existing 30mph on the section of the B2166 between Pagham Road roundabout junction and School Lane. The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst electrical connection works are undertaken.
The Order came into effect on 24 June 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on 24 June 2025 and will take 5 weeks to complete.

(East Dean, Singleton & Westhampnett: Goodwood Three Friday Nights)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:
(i) prohibit vehicles from travelling along Pook Lane/Forge Yard Road between Fordwater Road and Trundle Hill and along Racecourse Road between Kennel Hill and East Dean Hill; and (ii) to require all vehicles travelling on Kennel Hill Road/Trundle Hill from a point 200 M north of New Road northwards for a distance of 3.2 km and on Racecourse Road from Trundle Hill to East Dean Hill to travel at a speed not exceeding 30mph; and (iii) to require all vehicles travelling on Kennel Hill Road from New Road northwards for a distance of 200 M and on Racecourse Road from East Dean Hill eastwards for 300 M and on Trundle Hill from Knights Hill northwards for 30 M to travel at a speed not exceeding 40mph This Order is necessary to ensure safe access and egress for pedestrians and protect safety of local residents during the Goodwood Three Friday Night Concerts. The Order will come into operation on 5 June 2025.
The speed restrictions will be in place from 0800 hours on 5 June 2025 until 1700 hours on 7 June 2025, from 0800 hours on 12 June 2025 until 1700 hours on 14 June 2025 and from 0800 hours on 19 June 2025 until 1700 hours on 21 June 2025.
The manned road closures will be operative from 1500 hours on 6 June 2025 until 0130 hours on 7 June 2025, from 1500 hours on 13 June 2025 until 0130 hours on 14 June 2025 and from 1500 hours on 20 June 2025 until 0130 hours on 21 June 2025.

(Wisborough Green: Run Wisborough) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at any time along lengths of:-
(i) Durbans Road – from Kirdford Road to Howfold Lane;
(ii) Kirdford Road – the entire length;
(iii) Newpound Lane – from Kirdford Road to Howfold Lane
The Order is necessary to facilitate the Run Wisborough 2025.
The Order will come into operation on 8 June 2025 and will be in force between the hours of 0900 hours and 1200 hours.

(Tillington: Public Footpath No. 1057) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along a length of Public Footpath No 1057 from its western end at its junction with Public Footpath No. 1058_1 (grid reference 494307.778, 123479.107), eastwards to its junction with Public Bridleway No. 1027 (grid reference 494596.322, 123525.978), a distance of approximately 390 M.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to a fallen tree crushing a bridge.
Unfortunately there are no alternative routes available using the Public Rights of Way network. The Order will come into effect on 5th June 2025 and will last for 6 months. (Midhurst: Red Lion Street) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Red Lion Street from its junction with West Street northwards for a distance of 30 M.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst reapirs are made to The Swan Inn. The Order will come into effect on 9 June 2025 will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on 9 June 2025 and will be completed by 4 July 2025.

(Barnham & Eastergate: Public Footpath 325) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is currently in place to temporarily close Public Footpath 325 in the parish of Barnham & Eastergate from its junction with Lake Lane, southwards to its junction with Yapton Road.
The continued closure of this route is needed to maintain public safety following a risk assessment of the operation of a railway crossing the footpath.
The operation of the Order will now be extended by a further 6 months, or until works to improve safety at the railway crossing are completed, whichever is earlier. Unfortunately, during the operative period of the Order, no alternative route is available via the public rights of way network.

(Sidlesham: B2145 & B2201) (30mph & 50mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to introduce a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to reduce the speed limit on lengths of the B2145 & B2201 at Sidlesham Common to 30mph.
