Halton - Multiple Road Traffic Notices

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Borough Of Halton (Fiddlers Ferry Road, Widnes) 
(Temporary Prohibition Or Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2025

Road(s) affected: Fiddlers Ferry Road, Widnes - from Watkinson Way traffic lights to Fiddlers Ferry roundabout and from Fiddlers Ferry roundabout to Warrington Road roundabout.

Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.

Note: the closure is to allow for patching and surface dressing works and will take approximately 4 days.

(Temporary Prohibition Or Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2025

Road(s) affected: Lodge Lane, Runcorn

Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road.

Note: the closure is to allow a new gas service to be installed and is expected to take 3 days.

(Temporary Prohibition Or Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2025

Road(s) affected: Stockham Lane, Runcorn - outside number 7 

Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road and no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road. 

Note: the closure is to allow for a lead supply replacement and will take 3 days. For further information contact: 07778 114748.

Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.

Date Orders to come into effect: 9 June 2025

Maximum duration of the Orders: 18 months from the date the Orders come into effect.
