Sandwell Area - Multiple Temporary Road Closures

What is happening?

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Myvod Road, Wednesbury) (Temporary Cul-De-Sac Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Myvod Road, which will be closed at the side of property No.53 (access road to property Nos. 55-75 situated in the cul-de-sac).
Access to any affected frontages will be maintained but only when safety permits. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 20/06/2025 effective from 18/06/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access for water service works by Severn Trent Water.
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Rabone Lane, Smethwick) (Temporary
Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from
proceeding along Rabone Lane, which will be closed outside property No.4
Access to any affected frontages will be maintained but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Rolfe Street, Engine Street and vice versa.
The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be
completed by 20/06/2025 effective from 18/06/2025. Purpose – to facilitate
access for water service works by Severn Trent Water.
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Barnfield Road, Tipton) (Temporary
Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from
proceeding along Barnfield Road, which will be closed from the gable end of property No.1 for a distance of 35 metres in a south-easterly direction.
Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety
permits. Traffic will be diverted via Bloomfield Road, Brook Street & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 03/07/2025 effective from 30/06/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to lay new gas connections to building plots 1 and 2 by
