What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(CORSTORPHINE ROAD & ORMIDALE TERRACE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/67

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for sewer installation works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of Ormidale Ter from the extended north kerbline of Corstorphine Rd to the extended south kerbline of Abinger Gdns; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of (i) Corstorphine Rd from the extended east building line of 10 Corstorphine Rd eastwards to the extended east building line of 13 Corstorphine Rd and (ii) Ormidale Ter from the extended north kerbline of Corstorphine Rd northwards to the extended north building line of 1B Ormidale Ter. Existing Greenways red line stopping/waiting restrictions & loading bays and yellow line waiting restrictions & a limited waiting bay, shall be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Corstorphine Rd, Murrayfield Rd, Kingsburgh Rd, Murrayfield Gdns & Abinger Gdns.
The Order shall have effect from 8/6/25 to 19/12/25.
