What is happening?

PROPOSAL TO MAKE A PRESCRIBED ALTERATION – BELLFIELD JUNIOR SCHOOL
NOTICE is given in accordance with Section 19 (1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 and regulation 6 of the SchoolOrganisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013 that Birmingham City Council proposes to make a prescribed alteration to Bellfield Junior School, Vineyard Road, Birmingham, B31 1PT, as follows: Establishment of Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision to be provided in a resource base from 1st January 2026; making provision for up to 12 pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Bellfield Junior School is a community school, rated “Good” by Ofsted, which has a capacity of 240 pupils.
