PEDESTRIAN ZONE, THESSALY ROAD, SW8

The Wandsworth (Prescribed Routes) (Thessaly Road) Order 202*

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 5 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

  2. The general effect of the Prescribed Routes Order will be to introduce a Pedestrian Zone in Thessaly Road from its junction with Battersea Park Road, to a point 27 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Battersea Park Road. Cycles will be exempt from the prohibition.

  3. Copies of details giving further details to the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

  4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address above within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – BANK LANE SW15

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Bank Lane to facilitate CSP Ltd on behalf of AELTC (Wimbledon).

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall wait along Bank Lane: There will be parking restrictions on Bank Lane.

    • Outside the Bank of England Sports Centre from the junction with Roehampton Gate to opposite the side of 2a Roedean Crescent.

    • Opposite the Bank of England Sports Centre from the junction with Roehampton Gate to the junction with Roedean Crescent

    There will be no waiting 08:00 - 23:59 (Monday to Sunday).

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 9 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 27 June 2025.

    TEMPORARY CLOSURE – DEALTRY ROAD SW

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Dealtry Road to facilitate BT Openreach utility works.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Dealtry Road from the junction of Upper Richmond Road to outside number 8. There will be no waiting at any time.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

    5. The order will come into operation on 12 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 June 2025.

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Grandison Road to facilitate Telecoms utility works.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Grandison Road outside numbers 71–85. There will be no waiting at any time.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

    5. The order will come into operation on 11 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 11 June 2025.

    TEMPORARY CLOSURE – LACY ROAD SW15

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Lacy Road to facilitate Electricity utility works.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Lacy Road from outside number 99 to the junction with Charlwood Road. There will be no waiting 08:30–16:30 Monday – Friday.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    5. The order will come into operation on 14 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months.

    ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

    TEMPORARY CLOSURE – WOODBOROUGH ROAD SW15

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Woodborough Road to facilitate BT Openreach works.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Woodborough Road from the junction of Upper Richmond Road to outside number 2A. There will be no waiting 19:00 – 23:30.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

    5. The order will come into operation on 10 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 12 June 2025.

    ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

    TEMPORARY CLOSURE – BURNTWOOD LANE SW18

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Burntwood Lane to facilitate Telecoms works.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the eastbound cycle lane will be closed on Burntwood Lane from the junction with Openview to the junction with Fieldview. There will be no waiting at any time.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    5. The order will come into operation on 7 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 June 2025.
