THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(BOGGART LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Boggart Lane from its junction with Sowerby Croft Lane to side of No. 2 for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is Harper Royd Lane, Hob Lane, Shaw Lane and vice versa. Resident access to be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HIGHLANDS LANE, ILLINGWORTH)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Highlands Lane from No. 2 to No. 3 for a distance of approximately 2.6 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Highlands Lane, Whitehill Road, Moor Bottom Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ROOLEY BANKS FOOTPATH TO WOOD CROFT, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrim Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Rooley Banks Footpath from Rooley Banks to Wood Croft for a distance of 38 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Broadway. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NEWLANDS ROAD FOOTPATH, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrim Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Newlands Avenue Footpath from The Newlands to Wood Croft for a distance of 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Newlands Avenue, Rooley Banks, Wood Croft. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WOOD CROFT, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrim Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wood Croft from No.23 to No. 28 for a distance of approximately 43 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. Access will be available for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CHURCH BANK LANE, CRAGG VALE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Bank Lane from The Hinchcliffe for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. Access will be available for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 15:00.

(THORNHILLS LANE, CLIFTON)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Lane from its junction with Thornhills Beck Lane to Clifton Common for a distance of approximately 1200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Clifton Common, Highmoor Lane, Jay House Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 15:30.

(BRIDGE STREET, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Bridge Street footway from its junction with Halifax Road to Boots Pharmacy for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The  alternative route will be via footpath opposite. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BUTTS GREEN ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Butts Green Road from its junction with Greystones Road to No. 13 for a distance of approximately 247 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Blackwall Lane, Water Hill Lane, Cliff Hill Lane, Warley Town Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DANNY LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Danny Lane from its junction with Greystones Road to Ripley Terrace for a distance of approximately 325 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Blackwall Lane, Water Hill Lane, Cliff Hill Lane, Warley Town Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ELIZABETH STREET, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Elizabeth Street from No. 1 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Southgate, Catherine Street, Frances Street, unaffected part of Elizabeth Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GREYSTONES ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Greystones Road from its junction with Danny Lane to Butts Green Road for a distance of approximately 360 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Blackwall Lane, Water Hill Lane, Cliff Hill Lane, Warley Town Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PLOUGHCROFT LANE, BOOTHTOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Communications Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ploughcroft Lane from its junction with Boothtown Road to No. 212 Boothtown Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Boothtown Road, Queensbury Road, Swales Moor Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STRAIGHT LANE, MIXENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Communications Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Straight Lane from its junction with Mixenden Lane/Raw Lane to Edge End Farm for a distance of approximately 120 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Mixenden Lane, Mill Lane, Clough Lane, Mixenden Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SUNNYBANK DRIVE, GREETLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sunnybank Drive from No. 1 to No. 13 for a distance of approximately 27 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Sunnybank Drive, Sunnybank Road, Rochdale Road, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(LONGFIELD AVENUE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Longfield Avenue from its junction with Bradford Road to No. 2A for a distance of approximately 16 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

(HEIGHT ROAD/NOOK LANE/BILLY LANE/PARROCK LANE/ AKROYD LANE, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Height Road/ Nook Lane/Billy Lane/Parrock Lane/Akroyd Lane from junction with Midgley Road to Keighley Road for a distance of approximately 5130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Midgley Road, Burnley Road, Commercial Street, Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 07:00 & 18:00.

(SCAMMONDEN ROAD/LOWER ROAD/MOORFIELD ROAD/ STEELE LANE/STAINLAND DENE, KRUMLIN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Scammonden Road/Lower Road/Moorfield Road/Steele Lane/Stainland Dene from Saddleworth Road to Dog Lane for a distance of approximately 5780 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road, Beestonley Lane, Coldwells Hill and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 07:00 & 18:00.

(GARDEN ROAD/BLACKBURN ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Garden Road/ Blackburn Road from Halifax Road to Granny Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 585 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Halifax Road, Granny Hall Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th June 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.

(TOOTHILL BANK/TOOTHILL LANE, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Toothill Bank/ Toothill Lane from Rastrick Common to Huddersfield Road for a distance of approximately 755 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Ogden Lane, Church Street, Crowtrees Lane, Clough Lane, Fixby Road, Bradford Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th June 2025. (NEW ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road from its junction with George Street to Railway Bridge for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Scout Road, Sowerby Lane, Acre Lane, Pinfold Lane, Sowerby New Road, Sowerby Street, Town Hall Street, Tuel Lane, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
